10. Hluhluwe–Imfolozi Park

Hluhluwe–Imfolozi Park, formerly Hluhluwe–Umfolozi Game Reserve, is the oldest proclaimed nature reserve in Africa. Known for its rich wildlife and conservation efforts. The park is the only state-run park in KwaZulu-Natal where you can see the Big Five – lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo and rhinoceros. Due to conservation efforts, the park now has the largest population of white rhino in the world. Wildlife enthusiasts may enjoy the vast expanses of native plants and native animals during guided walks, self-guided drives.

The Cape Winelands are a region in the south of South Africa. The winelands boasts some of the most majestic scenery in South Africa. It is situated to the north-east of Cape Town and offers a beautiful landscape of wine hills and mountains. Visitors can follow the Wine Routes of the Cape to visit the vineyards of the country’s finest winemakers, whose sherries, ports, brandies and intriguing whites and reds are world famous for their delicate flavors and savory palatability.

Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is a large wildlife preserve and conservation area in southern Africa. The total area of the park is 38,000 square kilometres (15,000 sq mi). Approximately three-quarters of the park lies in Botswana and one-quarter in South Africa. The park offers a majestic and infinite desert landscape with migrating herds of wildebeest, gemsbok, springbok and eland, cunning predators like lion, cheetah and leopard and unending red dunes with unique flora and a diversity of epic proportions is what draws the visitor to this ancient land of the Kalahari Desert.

7. Blyde River Canyon

The Blyde River Canyon is a significant natural feature of South Africa. It is the largest 'green canyon' due to its lush subtropical foliage. It has some of the deepest precipitous cliffs of any canyon on the world. It is the second largest canyon in Africa, after the Fish River Canyon, and is known as one of the great wonders of nature on the continent. Possibly the best view in the whole of the Blyde River Canyon is of the "Three Rondavels". Visitors have the opportunity to encounter all five of South Africa’s primates here, as well as hippos and crocodiles near the wetlands of Swadini Dam.

The Garden Route in the Western Cape is one of South Africa's main tourist attractions and is generally thought to stretch from Mossel Bay to St Francis along the Indian ocean and also includes parts of the inland. This popular driving route passes through rolling green hills, pretty coastal towns, lagoons, lakes, and coastal cliffs. One of the Garden Route’s best known travel destinations,  the charming town of Knysna is situated between lush forests and the shores of a peaceful lagoon.

The Amphitheatre is one of the geographical features of the Northern Drakensberg, South Africa, and is widely regarded as one of the most impressive cliff faces on earth. The name is derived from the dutch and means “dragons mountain”, is one of the most popular vacation destinations in South Africa and home to the country's highest peaks. The Amphitheatre is over 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) in length and has precipitous cliffs rising approximately 1,220 metres (4,000 ft) along its entire length. The Tugela Falls, the world's second tallest falls, plunge over 948 metres (3,100 ft) from the Amphitheatre's cliff tops. It is part of the Royal Natal National Park.

4. Victoria and Alfred Waterfront (V&A Waterfront)

The Victoria & Alfred (V&A) Waterfront in Cape Town has sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, Table Bay Harbour, the City of Cape Town and Table Mountain. One of Cape Town's biggest tourist attractions, the Waterfront evokes images of the early activities of the harbour. Much of its charm lies in the fact that this busy commercial harbour is set in the midst of a huge entertainment venue with pubs, restaurants, specialty shops, craft markets, theatres and movies. Beyond amusements, there are also some attractions including the infamous Clock Tower, Chavonnes Battery, the South African Maritime Museum and the coastal Seal Landing where Cape Fur Seals reside.

Durban beaches are a popular destination for surfers, joggers, sunbathers and water-sports enthusiasts. Located in northeastern South Africa. Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. The park boasts more species of mammals than any other African game reserve which includes the Big 5: leopards, lions, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. As do diverse bird species such as vultures, eagles and storks. Mountains, bush plains and tropical forests are all part of the landscape. It is one of the main attractions of South Africa and it is considered the flagship of South African National Parks.
