Cajas National Park is a national park in the highlands of Ecuador, located about 30 km west from Cuenca. It is home to a large variety of animals, some of which are endemic or highly endangered. Among the most prominent are the South American condor, of which only 80 remain throughout all Ecuador; the curiquinga, a large black and white raptor, and the largest hummingbird of the world (Patagona gigas), which lives only on agave flowers. The violet-throated metaltail (Metalura gorjivioleta) is endemic to Cajas and surrounding valleys. The avifauna consists of 157 bird species, making birdwatching an alluring activity for visitors.[wiki]

Tena is a town in Ecuador's Amazon Jungle area. It is known as the “cinnamon capital" of Ecuador, and has emerged as one of the top industrialized center as founded by the missionary explorers. The Tena River joins with the Masahualli River, and then with the Napo River, a tributary of the Amazon. Tena is a popular launching point for jungle, kayaking and rafting tours in Ecuador's Amazon rainforest region.

Cotopaxi is an active stratovolcano in the Andes Mountains, located in the Latacunga canton of Cotopaxi Province. It is the second highest summit in Ecuador, reaching a height of 5,897 m (19,347 ft). It is one of the world's highest volcanoes.  It has an almost symmetrical cone that rises from a highland plain of about 3,800 metres (12,500 ft), with a width at its base of about 23 kilometres (14 mi). It has one of the few equatorial glaciers in the world, which starts at the height of 5,000 metres (16,400 ft). The crater consists of two concentric crater rims, the outer one being partly free of snow and irregular in shape.[wiki]

The Church of the Society of Jesus, or "La Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús", is a Jesuit church in Quito, Ecuador. Built in the early 1600s, it is among the best-known churches in Quito because of its large central nave, which is profusely decorated with gold leaf, gilded plaster and wood carvings. La Compañía is one of the most significant works of Spanish Baroque architecture in South America, is Quito's most ornate church.

The Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve is the second largest reserve of the 45 national parks and protected areas in Ecuador. Establish in 1979, with some of the highest biodiversity on earth. The reserve is home to more than 580 species of birds and 10 species of monkeys, 2 species of deer, all Amazon cats, as well as tapirs, caimans, butterflies and anacondas, plus lots of other animals and insects. Its eight ecosystems, which include watersheds, rainforests and poorly drained areas, can be reached from Lago Agrio.

Montañita is a small village located on Manglaralto parish along the southern coast of Ecuador. The New Cathedral of Cuenca, or “Catedral Nueva,” is the cathedral church in Cuenca. Built in 1885 and lasted for almost a century. This building combines many architecture styles, but Romanesque Revival is predominant. The cathedral is surmounted by three giant domes covered by striking blue and white glazed tile from Czechoslovakia. Its stained glass windows were created by Spanish artist Guillermo Larrazábal. Its facade is made of alabaster and local marble, while the floor is covered with pink marble, brought from Carrara (Italy).

Otavalo, capital of Otavalo Canton, is a largely indigenous town in the Imbabura Province of Ecuador. The indigenous Otavaleños are famous for weaving textiles, usually made of wool, which are sold at the famous Saturday market. Although the largest market is on Saturday, there is a very wide range of wares available throughout the week in the Plaza de los Ponchos, and the many local shops. The shops sell textiles such as handmade blankets, tablecloths, and much more. It is a part of the fun of traveling in Ecuador is exploring the handiwork crafted by local artisans.

The Church and Monastery of St. Francis, commonly known as el San Francisco, is a 16th-century Roman Catholic complex in Quito, Ecuador. It features several masterpieces, including a sculpture of a winged Holy Virgin by Legarda. The imposing structure has the distinction of being the largest architectural ensemble among the historical structures of colonial Latin America and for this reason is sometimes known as "El Escorial of the New World". The San Francisco de Quito convent defined itself in its relations with the outside world according to three spaces: The Public Square (Plaza de San Francisco), The Courtyard (El Atrio), The Church and its chapels (La Iglesia de San Francisco). San Francisco Church and the surrounding Old Town area are one of the top tourist attractions in Ecuador.

The Galapagos Islands are a small archipelago of islands belonging to Ecuador in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The islands are quite remote and isolated, lying some 1000 km (620 miles) Ecuador. The Galápagos archipelago is world-renowned for its unique and fearless wildlife- much of which was inspiration for Charles Darwin's Theory of Natural Selection. Giant tortoises, sea lions, penguins, marine iguanas and different bird species can all be seen and approached. The landscape of the islands is relatively barren and volcanic, but beautiful nonetheless. Strict controls on tourist access are maintained in an effort to protect the natural habitats and all visitors must be accompanied by a national park-certified naturalist tour guide.
