Máncora is a town and beach resort in the Piura Region, in northwestern Peru. It is known for its turquoise beaches and good waves, making it is a popular surfing destination. The beach town has over 30 beach resorts, luxury restaurants and nightclubs. During holidays, peruvians come all the way from Lima to spend their holidays at the beach. It turns into a real partytown with an overcrowded beach and bars competing for the loudest music day and night.

Located in the Historic Centre of Lima, The Plaza Mayor or Plaza de Armas of Lima is surrounded by the Government Palace on the north side, Cathedral of Lima and Archbishop's Palace of Lima on the east side, the Municipal Palace and the Palace of the Union on the west side. Leading off the square is the pedestrian street, Jiron de la Union, with shops, restaurants, and the historic Iglesia de La Merced. At the center of the plaza is an impressive bronze fountain erected in 1650. Most of the buildings on the square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The historic centre of Arequipa, built in volcanic sillar rock, represents an integration of European and native building techniques. This combination of influences is illustrated by the city's robust walls, archways and vaults, courtyards and open spaces, and the intricate Baroque decoration of its facades. Most of the colonial buildings in the historic city center are made from this stone, giving rise to its nickname of the "white city." In December 2000, it is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Nazca Lines are a series of ancient geoglyphs in the Nazca Desert, in southern Peru. Created by the Nazca culture between 500 B.C. and A.D 700. Hundreds are simple lines and geometric shapes; more than 70 are zoomorphic designs of animals, such as birds, fish, llamas, jaguars, and monkeys, or human figures. Because of its isolation and the dry, windless, stable climate of the plateau, the lines have mostly been naturally preserved. They were designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.

The Uros Islands are floating islands made of reed, situated in Lake Titicaca on the Peruvian Altiplano. As are the houses on them and the residents' boats, the people of the Uros Islands who predate the Incas. The Uros Islands are anchored with ropes attached to sticks driven into the bottom of the lake. The reeds at the bottoms of the islands rot away fairly quickly, so new reeds are added to the top constantly, about every three months; this is what makes it exciting for tourists when walking on the island. The artificial islands of the Uros are Lake Titicaca’s top tourist attraction.

Plaza de Armas is the central square of Cuzco. Known as the "Square of the warrior" in the Inca era. It was the historic capital of the Inca Empire from the 13th until the 16th century Spanish conquest. Nowaday, it is known for its archaeological remains and Spanish colonial architecture. The churches are the main attraction; the Cathedral and the Church of La Compañía. The center of the square is a place to rest on the benches and admire the gardens and fountain in the center.

The Colca Canyon in southern Peru's Arequipa region is an area of astounding scenic beauty. With a depth of 10,725 ft, it is one of the deepest in the world, second in Peru after the Cotahuasi Canyon. The Colca Valley is a colorful Andean valley with pre-Inca roots, and towns founded in Spanish colonial times, still inhabited by people of the Collagua and the Cabana cultures. It is one of Peru's top tourist destinations.

The Inca trail is one of the most popular treks in Peru and South America. Located in the Andes mountain range, the trail passes through several types of Andean environments including cloud forest and alpine tundra. Settlements, tunnels, and many Incan ruins are located along the trail before ending at Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. The trail is closed every February for cleaning, from May to September are the best months to make the multi-day hike.

Machu Picchu is the site of an ancient Inca city, located at 2,430m (8,000 ft) in the Andes of Peru. It's one of the most familiar symbols of the Incan Empire and also one of the most famous and spectacular sets of ruins in the world. It was built with polished dry-stone walls. Its three primary structures are the Inti Watana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Room of the Three Windows. Machu Picchu is one of the top tourist attractions in Peru.
